There’s a lot wrong with this world. And sometimes there seems a lot wrong with our personal little corner of it, too.

Having a positive faith is not to ignore or deny what’s wrong globally or personally. It doesn’t mean we have to lie to ourselves, pretending that all’s well when obviously it isn’t.

Exactly the opposite, in fact!

With a positive faith we see only too clearly what’s wrong, but we can also look beyond the problems to the greater reality. Because behind everything that might look wrong to us there is God doing what is right for us.

Have you ever noticed that the greatest theme of the Bible is God producing good things from bad? It’s the grand overarching theme from Genesis to Revelation, and occurs repeatedly along the way.
